The building is a small mountain refuge located in La Molina, in the eastern Pyrenees, the preferred use of which is skiing. It is made up of two bedrooms, a living room and the corresponding bathroom and kitchen. Built entirely in masonry, with some walls lined in part with wood, especially in its upper part and covered in a single slope, it plays the contrast of the dark mass of stone and wood with the clearings of the surrounded by holes and the pure final line of the roof to great effect. All of it is designed to highlight the horizontality of its lines, for which it is complemented with a wide cantilevered terrace accentuated by its construction with horizontal trunks, giving rise to a beautiful aesthetic effect that even sacrifices the slope of the roof, somewhat scarce in climate of abundant snow. The various chimneys finish off the construction, following the façade lines with great simplicity. The garage is under the living room, almost hidden by the large outgoing terrace-solarium. It has an access through a trench, a solution that is not very practical in the middle of snowy winter.
