In this first stage, the catalogue focuses on the modern and contemporary architecture designed and built between 1832 –year of construction of the first industrial chimney in Barcelona that we establish as the beginning of modernity– until today.
The project is born to make the architecture more accessible both to professionals and to the citizens through a website that is going to be updated and extended. Contemporary works of greater general interest will be incorporated, always with a necessary historical perspective, while gradually adding works from our past, with the ambitious objective of understanding a greater documented period.
The collection feeds from multiple sources, mainly from the generosity of architectural and photographic studios, as well as the large amount of excellent historical and reference editorial projects, such as architectural guides, magazines, monographs and other publications. It also takes into consideration all the reference sources from the various branches and associated entities with the COAC and other collaborating entities related to the architectural and design fields, in its maximum spectrum.
Special mention should be made of the incorporation of vast documentation from the COAC Historical Archive which, thanks to its documental richness, provides a large amount of valuable –and in some cases unpublished– graphic documentation.
The rigour and criteria for selection of the works has been stablished by a Documental Commission, formed by the COAC’s Culture Spokesperson, the director of the COAC Historical Archive, the directors of the COAC Digital Archive, and professionals and other external experts from all the territorial sections that look after to offer a transversal view of the current and past architectural landscape around the territory.
The determination of this project is to become the largest digital collection about Catalan architecture; a key tool of exemplar information and documentation about architecture, which turns into a local and international referent, for the way to explain and show the architectural heritage of a territory.

Arquitecta des del 1994 per l’ETSAB i té el diploma de postgrau de Museografia i Disseny de la UPC.
Des de 1995 dirigeix el seu propi estudi amb la realització de projectes i obres de restauració de patrimoni i equipaments culturals públics i privats.
Dels equipaments culturals destaquen l’Escola de Música de Palafolls, els Arxius Històrics Comarcals del Montsià i de la Ribera d’Ebre, obres seleccionades a les Biennals d’Arquitectura del COAC; i l’Arxiu del Garraf, obra seleccionada als Premis FAD 2010; la Fundació Coll Bardolet a Mallorca i la fundació l’Olivar a Ventalló.
En l’àmbit de la restauració de Patrimoni destaquen les obres de restauració de les Muralles de Vic, seleccionada als Premis FAD 2003, i la restauració de l’Antiga Fàbrica de la Moneda La Seca a Barcelona per a Espai Escènic Joan Brossa i Fundació Brossa, amb diversos premis i present a la XIII Biennale Architettura Venezia 2012.
Actualment està treballant en els projectes de la connexió dels jardins Rubió i Lluch amb la Plaça de la Gardunya a Barcelona, la restauració de la muralla del Jaciment Ibèric d’Ullastret, la restauració del Castell de la Tossa de Montbui i del castell de Besora, i la recuperació de la Unió de Cooperadors de Gavà de l’arquitecte J.Ll. Sert.
Professora de projectes de l’Escola d’Arquitectura de la UIC (2005-2006) i professora convidada a l’Escola d’Arquitectura del Vallès i del programa d’extensió universitària de la UVic.
Ha estat membre del Patronat de la Ciutat Antiga de Vic (1995-2003) i jurat de diversos premis.
Membre del Comitè Executiu del consell de la Cultura de Barcelona (2015-2016) i membre de la Comissió de l’art Públic de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona (2016-2017).
Actualment i des del 2018 és membre de la Comissió d'Arquitectura de l'Ajuntament de Barcelona i des del 2009 membre de la Comissió Tècnica de Patrimoni Cultural de la Catalunya Central del Departament de Cultura de la Generalitat de Catalunya.

Restoration of the Town Walls of Vic
El projecte segueix les pautes fixades a l’Estudi Previ de Restauració de les Muralles de Vic (s.XIV) de 1998, que preveia la recuperació i reproducció de les torres desaparegudes i la recuperació dels trams soterrats i del pas sobre muralla com a espai públic. L’actuació és sobre un tram de mur de 50m entre les torres del Palau Episcopal i la Catedral, amb connexió visual i d’accés al claustre, limitant amb la Rambla del Bisbat i el riu Mèder. Inicialment era un mur arrebossat de 3,60m d’altura i 1,6m d’amplada, on a l’any 1971 s’hi practicà un forat per col·locar-hi la reixa del presbiteri de l’antiga Catedral, que permetia la visió des de l’exterior del claustre . Escassos estudis realitzats apuntaven que la muralla, en aquest tram, limitava directament amb el riu. El tram visible en l’actualitat correspondria a un mur de tancament remuntat sobre la muralla construït a finals del s.XVIII. Els sondejos arqueològics fets inicialment ho confirmen, al trobar en perfecte estat la muralla original assentada sobre la roca. Les possibilitats del moment no permeten l’eliminació de la Rambla com apuntava l’Estudi Previ i per aquesta raó es realitza un fossat de 1,6m d’amplada que permet la visió de l’altura original de les muralles. La barana de vidre li dóna la protecció necessària i no obstrueix la visió del mur. Per tal de mantenir la visió i l’accés restringit al claustre, es manté l'obertura substituïnt la reixa per una porta corredissa de ferro i vidre. L'accés obliga la construcció d’una passarel·la per salvar el buit del fossat, ubicada en el punt on les excavacions han deixat al descobert la resta de diferents portes sobreposades d’èpoques diverses. El mur es remata amb pedra calcàrea de forma i col·locació contemporània, marcant un tall oblicu al mur, fent més evident que es tracta d’un fragment i que permet distingir aquesta darrera fase d’intervenció, mantenint la unitat pètrea del conjunt. -
El Garraf County Historical Archive
El Garraf County Historical Archive building is located on a plot within an industrial and equipment complex on the outskirts of Vilanova i la Geltrú. It is a deposit building and document container, complementary to the public use building of the Garraf archive located inside the castle in the old town. The building is configured based on the repeated and aligned placement of four rectangular units of the same dimensions on a single floor - three of them corresponding to deposit documents and the fourth one to multiple uses linked to the stored documentation. The unevenness of the plot and the development of the requested programme on a single ground floor in relation to the highest point of the plot allows the formation of a plinth in the building and the use of a semi-basement floor as a possible extension of the deposits. Externally, the building is completely opaque, as a result of its use as a warehouse, placing the four surface finish boxes of natural wood slats on the concrete base. These integrate, adapt visually and will age like the park that borders the plot. One of these front façades rises and becomes an announcing banner and a large access door to the building, both for documentation and for potential users. Internal circulation takes place exclusively through a transversal corridor that cuts through all the tanks perpendicularly to their length, thus minimising and facilitating the relationship between all the spaces and allowing the distribution of various uses of the spaces that this cut generates. -

The Royal Mint of the Crown of Aragon in Barcelona "La Seca" - from the Arabic word sekka: "place where money is made" - operated from 1441 to 1849 and was located in several buildings grouped on the same block of houses in the Ribera district of Barcelona. Remains of the 13th and 14th centuries have been preserved in the complex, although the main structures date from the 17th century, with important alterations in the 18th and 19th centuries. When the factory fell into disrepair, the building underwent multiple modifications and was segregated into multiple properties. The refurbishment of part of these buildings that formed La Seca has been carried out in several phases to accommodate the Espai Escènic Brossa (La Seca-1) on the one hand and the Fundació Brossa on the other (La Seca-2), maintaining the uses differentiated but linked and compatible and that in the last interventions have been joined and connected through the inner spaces and the exteriors to become a single cultural centre in a future. The fit of these cultural facilities in the existing historical buildings has been considered maintaining the typology, the structures and the main constructive elements and respecting the interventions that it has undergone over time, without prioritising any of them, and completing them with the construction of new specific elements such as a new staircase, a bridge body or the creation of a new inner courtyard, so that the end result of the sum of history and contemporaneity allows a good use of the whole, which becomes a series of connected interior open spaces that are illuminated and also connected through the exterior courtyards.
