The main façade on Baixada de la Seu is symmetrically arranged along three vertical axes, corresponding to the three ground-floor entrances. Pilasters separating the balconies are nearly flat and topped with Ionic capitals. The cornice is decorated with modillions and overlapping tile motifs. Manresa Cemetery
Monumental façade with the main door decorated with pilasters and a large cornice, under which there is a frieze with a bas-relief depicting Jesus climbing to Calvary. The side walls of the door are decorated with large tombstones. Inside, the door reproduces the façade of a Greek temple with two columns with Doric capitals and a triangular pediment. On each side, there is a corridor with classical columns (12 on each side) in the Tuscan order, leading to the church. These corridors feature niches, some of which are of great artistic value. Inside the enclosure formed by the porticoes and the entrance, family pantheons and tombs are scattered in an orderly fashion, some of them true works of architecture and sculpture of great quality, making the complex an attractive showcase of late 19th and early 20th century styles. Of particular note are the tomb of the Portabella i Argullol family, built by the architect Bernat Pejoan and the sculptor Josep Llimona; the Serra i Santamans family mausoleum, in the Neo-Romanesque style; and the Borràs family mausoleum, in the Neo-Gothic style. The cemetery chapel has a classical composition and design, which is very well suited to the exterior and interior façade. The building project is from 1846.1846

Valldaura Church
Antoni Calvet, Josep Firmat i Serramalera, Josep Torres Argullol
Stone building with a nave and side chapels connected by pointed arches. Gabled roof. The main façade is orderly and smooth, with a predominance of empty space over full space: a round-arched doorway and a large tripartite window that follows the line of the façade forming the steel. A polygonal tower with a pyramidal roof marks the corner and serves as a link to the flat side façade, with small openings and buttresses. The exterior design is different to the interior. The façades show certain Central European influences, which is not surprising if we consider that the interior was designed later by a younger architect. Inside, the nave is separated from the side chapels by transverse arches, which are lower on the ground floor and pointed on the upper floor. Polygonal apse. Heart in the front wall, at ground floor level. Wooden roof structure. Coated furniture. At the head of the church, above the altar, is the shrine of the Virgin. -

Located in the south-western sector of Manresa, in an agricultural area alongside the Manresa–Igualada road (C-37), the building is a fine example of Noucentista industrial architecture in the municipality. The building stands alone and is composed of several volumes with roofs at different heights, forming an overall rectangular floor plan. From the outside, it appears to be a three-storey building, but inside it is a single open space, featuring a large, off-centre column that supports the metal trusses which in turn bear the brick vaults, visible from the exterior. The front section of the building consists of a single-storey volume, characterised by a rhythmic arrangement of windowed openings framed by false pentagonal arches and fitted with metal joinery. These are separated by pilasters and topped with a balustrade of diamond-section balusters. Behind this section, and set back, are the other two bays. The power station, built by Catalana de Gas i Electricitat, ceased operation in 1989. It is now owned by ENDESA, which has restored it and established its new headquarters for Central Catalonia within the building. -
